WordPress article published date tag: the_date

WordPress template tags the_ Date outputs the publication date of the current article, which needs to be used in the main loop of the loop.

the_date( string $d = '', string $before = '', string $after = '', boolean $echo = true )

Function parameters

$d

String value, default value: the value set in the WordPress option

Format of date

$before

String value, null by default

Text output before date

$after

String value, null by default

Text output after date

$echo

Boolean value, default value: true

Output date or only return the corresponding value, the default output.

Examples of function usage

<?php the_date('Y-m-d', '<h2>', '</h2>'); ?>
